Garness Jones Reception
01/12/2010
RRS Recovery Services, which celebrates its third birthday next January, has moved into the remaining two units at the Knedlington Industrial Estate, along Howdenshire Way.
The company specialises in light and heavy vehicle breakdown and recovery.
Anthony Sparrow, who owns RRS Recovery with his wife Rebecca, said the new office will reduce call out times.
He said: "Our new Goole depot is an extension to the York head office. It will offer a 24-hour service and will hopefully increase business in this area."
The takeover of the 1,750 sqft site is the next stage in the expansion of the business, which has grown from one truck in 2007 to 18 vehicles acting as service providers for companies such as Green Flag.
Mr Sparrow, who praised the site, which was purchased through Garness Jones, said: "The site is very close to the M62, which means we can get to vehicles much quicker.
"The new depot will mean we can offer a more competitive price for this area, as we will be pricing it up from the Goole area instead of Selby.
"We have quite a lot of work on at the minute, but we hope this new office will help us expand in the Hull and Goole area."
RRS offer services for everything from a flat battery to a road traffic accident or an over turned articulated lorry.
Mr Sparrow said: "The key to our success is the fact we are a professional recovery company who put our customers first.
"Our dedicated team is made of highly trained and professional operatives and we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 52 weeks of the year in order to ensure our customers needs are met."
