Garness Jones Reception
18/01/2012
A digital media business which began its life in a prison and gathered clients globally on the way to a multi-million pound turnover is set for its next phase of expansion.
Summit Media counts a range of national and international household names among its client base having made a huge success of its twin aim of delivering excellent online marketing while also building a pioneering rehabilitation scheme for prisoners.
The business was set up within the walls of the Wolds Prison at Everthorpe and has trained more than 250 prison inmates for life and work on the outside. It has a European office in Prague and has just moved its headquarters from North Cliffe in rural East Yorkshire to Albion Mills at Willerby.
“Having based themselves in a prison and on a farm there was no way Summit were going to work in offices that didn’t have a bit of character,” said Dave Garness, Managing Director of Garness Jones.
“At Albion Mills they’ve got red-brick, uniquely-designed offices that have a lot of traditional features.”
