Garness Jones Reception
13/03/2012
A business park in East Yorkshire has welcomed a new tenant in the shape of a company with more than 20 years experience in shopfitting, kitchens and bathrooms.
The arrival of Johnson & French means the Warren Business Park at Beeford is now full, although Garness Jones still has some opportunities for office and industrial space at nearby Manor House.
Johnson & French have taken 2,799 square feet of space at Warren Business Park with premises fronting onto Main Street, Beeford.
The building opened for business recently having undergone a refurbishment to provide a high quality manufacturing area and a stylish showroom for the company, which has previously operated in West Yorkshire.
Johnson & French aims to combine craftsmanship with value for money, offering bespoke kitchen designs with furniture hand made by master craftsmen.
In addition to its own range of traditional and contemporary designs, from complete kitchens to individual accessories, Johnson & French supplies products from such leading manufacturers as AEG, CDA and Range Master.
The move to Beeford will see the company expand its activities into bedroom furniture crafted to the same high standard.
Jack Ward, Surveyor at Garness Jones, said Warren Business Park was considered by Johnson & French to be the ideal location for their next phase of business development.
“It gives Johnson & French a pleasant countryside setting which is in tune with the stylish and high quality nature of their business,” said Jack.
“But while it is a rural site it is easily accessible for customers and suppliers. And although the Warren Business Park is now full those same benefits apply to the space which is still available under the same landlords at Manor House, which is nearby.
“Manor House sits on a working farm and has provided a launch pad for start-up businesses and a permanent home for small to medium organisations that prefer rural tranquillity to urban bustle. Another benefit is that the landlords run all their business interests from their own offices on the same site.”
