We provide surveys for the purposes of mortgage loans, commercial loans in relation to investment and development, private house purchases and detailed surveys of domestic dwellings under the RICS Homebuyers format.
Our surveyors providing these services are all Chartered Surveyors and therefore we operate under the regulations of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. We also provide valuation reports for matrimonial/partnership dispute purposes and accounts purposes.
Energy Performance Certificate
Since October 1st 2008 it became a legal requirement that any domestic property constructed, sold or put up for rent must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The EPC is part of a series of measures introduced to help potential buyers and occupiers consider the energy efficiency of a building as part of the investment decision to own or occupy the building and ultimately to help address climate change. Garness Jones is an accredited energy assessor and can produce the certificate and suggest improvements to a building to make it more energy efficient. For advice contact Jonathan Newton.
